    We are implementing various initiatives for disaster prevention training and

    business continuity planning in case disaster occurs.

    <Disaster prevention training>

    In this region, where the Nankai Trough Earthquake is expected, the Health and Safety Committee

    has prepared an evacuation training scenario based on the assumption of an earthquake, and conducts training for disaster on a regular basis.

    On September 15, we conducted a series of training from receiving an earthquake early warning to evacuation guidance,

    transporting the injured, evacuation, and roll call, in an effort to raise the disaster prevention awareness of all employees.

    At the same time, we also conducted a fire training using a fire extinguisher to simulate a fire.

    After the training, an extraordinary meeting of the Health and Safety Committee was held to

    discuss and share points for improvement and reflection on the training for disaster .

    We have set up a BCP (Business Continuity Plan) / BCM (Business Continuity Management) task force

    and hold regular meetings to ensure safety in the event of an emergency, and to build a system flow

    for grasping the damage situation and the chain of instructions and orders, etc., in order to make accurate decisions for early recovery of business.

    The hygienic paper produced by our customers is an essential product that helps prevent infectious diseases and supports our daily lives.

    We are involved in work that is needed by society and contribute to society through our work.

    In light of this social responsibility, we have formulated a business continuity plan (BCP)

    based on the following basic policy to ensure that our business can be continued in any event,

    and we are committed to continuing and quickly restoring our operations.

    <Basic policy>
    To minimize the damage to internal and external stakeholders

    1.We will place the highest priority on securing life, safety, and health, and continue to act calmly and with consideration for human rights as a model for the community.

    2.We will strive to fulfill our social responsibilities by continuing and quickly restoring important operations, including the repair of tissue machines that have been delivered to customers.

    3.We will strive to cooperate in ensuring the safety of local communities.

    4.We will promote business continuity management (BCM) by making efforts to prepare from ordinary times, including education and training, and by continuously reviewing and improving our BCP.
