Kawanoe Zoki supports the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and contributes to the realization of a sustainable society through the promotion of environmentally friendly and people-friendly Monozukuri process.
By continuing to work on the four values “KAWANOE’s value” among the four pillars of our mid-term management plan “KAWANOE Value for the 80th”, we will strive more proactively to overcome social and environmental issues and steadily implement the following activities to contribute to the achievement of the SDGs goals.
Taking the opportunity of celebrating the 80th anniversary in 2024, we will go back to the grass roots, reconsider the value of KAWANOE that we have together, and question the significance of our existence while deeply considering about our mission. By redefining and providing the value of KAWANOE that is really needed by society and customers, we will continue to make a solid step toward a 100-year-old enterprise rooted in the community.
With the aim of realizing “What only KAWANOE can do”, we are creating educational opportunities that lead to growth by promoting qualification acquisition, holding group training and group study sessions on a regular basis.
We are also working to secure local human resources, empower women and hire elderly people which are essential to grow our business.
KAWANOE machines contribute to the safety and security of all our users by providing technologies to produce and convert towel paper and toilet paper used in bathrooms in various countries. We aim to provide high performance and energy-saving machines with low environmental impact.
In addition, we will proactively carry out research and development on the use of “Cellulose Nanofiber (CNF)”, a new plant-derived material that is expected to contribute to environmental conservation “with our customers”
We aim for regular recruitment and education of human resources, and sustainable growth that enables contribution to our region.
In addition, we will continue industry-academia collaboration, Monozukuri experience for local students, cleaning activity in our region, introducing our region, family day event, etc.
We will challenge the development of human resources who will support the region tomorrow and future.
